Front end developer

As a Front End Developer, you’d be working primarily with our website properties – slinging code and making epic things happen for our customers. The ideal candidate will be a UI developer who knows how to create appealing, usable, functional UIs, but will also have some amount of full stack experience. We don’t expect you to optimise DB queries or manage a Amazon web server, but if those concepts aren’t foreign to you then you are a better fit for this position.

Our major properties include Briox Accounting Software, one of Finland’s the fastest growing software for managing micro business accounting including a payroll solution, Briox mobile app, a premier app that eases the everyday life of a micro business owner on the run, and the one that you will be working on for and for most; our website – the first part of the customer journey and the platform which is a driving force for customer conversion.

In the coming months, we’re focused on continuing to grow and improve our ways of working, establishing a product-led growth methodology, taking our website to a new level and revolutionising the micro business segment with the help of Briox.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company’s website using modern front-end technologies and frameworks – specifically for product-led growth
• Develop and maintain the website’s multilingual capabilities.
• Build modern, reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimise application for maximum speed, SEO and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer or related field
• Expertise in modern front-end technologies and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.)
• Experience working with design tools and CMS platforms (WordPress)
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility issues
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and optimization techniques
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Proficient in responsive design
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross functional teams
